I tested the new camera last weekend, and here’s one of the plates. It’s nothing particular really, but it’s really nice to work with a real wet plate camera. Especially the plate holder. As usual, I had the wrong mindset when I tested the camera. I often have a silly notion that I will make a super great plate on the first try. With a whole new camera, new lens, new plate size, new light… I should be glad it turned out OK. 

Nothing is decided as of right now, but it is likely that Quinn Jacobson will do a workshop here in Göteborg, Sweden this fall. The workshop will probably be held in Gårdaskolan in an old “art” classroom, where I have my wet plate equipment.
