Planket gbg 2009

Planket Göteborg is on again this year. You can read more about it here if you understand Swedish. Planket (tr. the fence) is a concept brought to Sweden by photographer Neil Goldstein in 1982. It’s an open, outdoor photography exhibition, where a large number of artists use a fence to hang their work. Last year, Planket Göteborg was a big hit with over 200 photographers showing their work.
This year I will be showing a small series of wet plate self portraits. The mounting and framing will be a bit unconventional, I’m trying to take advantage of the versatility of the glass plate as a substrate. The portraits are on the funny side of life.
So, if you happen to be around Hålekärrsgatan in Majorna, Göteborg on August the 15th, you really should come by Planket.
