Prev: The wet plate collodion workshop was a big hit!

Pix from the workshop

Here are some shots from the first day of the workshop. During the second day I hade no time at all to take any pics. Too bad really – I could probably benefit from cloning myself.

Quinn talked about the different substrates that can be used with wet plate collodion.

Quinn showed us how to determine the focal length and f-stop of a lens. This is his Jamin-Darlot Cone Centralisateur. 220 mm focal length I believe.

Roger lives on the streets of Göteborg. He was very kind to have his portrait taken by Quinn, and the images (two) turned out great. Roger was with us in the darkroom and watched the plates emerge in the fixer. He left the studio with one of his portraits in hand. He seemed very happy and asked me to thank Quinn once again.

Quinn made two remarkable plates of Aron.

Here’s Aron and Sara, superimposed.

This is Aron’s image of Markus. Quite stunning I’d say!
