Wet plate images on clear glass.

These images were made specifically for the outdoor exhibition planketgbg 2009. I wanted to make something that was more of an object than an image on glass. Using dark stained wood as a background, these wet plate images appear as »pseudo positives« – a light background would turn them into negatives.

It was quite a lot of work to make the frames, I always underestimate that sort of work. The response to these images was fantastic, and I plan to use this technique again in the future. With what I’ve learned from these four I have some new ideas to try.
